Shortly after college Staley found herself in Nashville singing back up and playing guitar for artists like Reba McEntire and Faith Hill. Despite being a solid singer, Staley discovered her true calling in songwriting. She has written songs for some of biggest names in country music. She shares some of the great stories behind her music career and provides real life insight into the Nashville music scene. Staley also shows off her singing talents and sense of humor while on the show; with guitar in hand, Karen plays some of her hit songs and tells the stories behind the words.
